Since 1997 Randall's Adventure & Training has designed no-nonsense, affordable field knives specifically targeted to military, law enforcement, and the special operations community. The ESEE-6 is a wilderness survival and tactical knife that might just be the best all-around fixed blade on the market. With its 0.1875" blade thickness, it's the perfect blend between toughness and cutting efficiency all in a very svelte package. If you can only choose one fixed blade, then the ESEE-6 is the one for us! These knives are made from high carbon 1095 steel. And while 1095 is a top choice for professional cutlery designed for hard use, it will rust and stain if not properly cared for - especially on the cutting edge and around the laser engraving. It is the user's responsibility to keep the blades properly lubricated and cleaned. We suggest using a dry film rust inhibitor such as TUF-GLIDE or TUF-CLOTH. The handles have Micarta scales that are durable and water resistant. The knife also features spine jimping, full tang construction, lanyard hole, and finger choil. The knife comes with a molded plastic sheath, clip plate, paracord lanyard, and cord lock.

It's mine... finally!
I've waited 3 years to buy this. I watched a lot of reviews, and I made up my mind this is the one. It came ordered as shipped, and I received it faster than I anticipated. It's boxed well. It came with Stickers in the box. Out of the box the knive is razor sharp! And after using it for prepping dinner, slicing zucchini, squash, sweet potatoes, onion, and pepper with ease, it is still razor sharp. I have a bald spot on my leg, and my wife is fairly steamed (she hates when I do that lol). After this I made some feather sticks, processed some firewood, and threw it into a target. Passed as I knew it would across the board with flying colors. It's also guaranteed forever... ESEE has an insanely amazing warranty. I will leave this to someone in my will... but I have an incredible tool to accompany me on all my adventures for life! And the knife is still razor sharp! (:

Only knife to have...no excuses...
I put this knife to use as a professional guide. Don’t use it for skinning,...but chopping bone breaking down carcass works beautiful. It also doubles as an all around camp go to knife...love this guy...

Disappointed
Very disappointed by this knife. Bought this instead of Buck 124. Wish I didn't. It's not sharp enough at all. And when i use wood in camp as a hammer for splitting wood, a lot of the metal gets smashed on the top. Doesn't look good at all. After only like 5 days of use.
