DPx Gear

The DPx HEST/F 4.0 series is the latest evolution of the folding knife line. The Micarta model is the first production option featuring Micarta, and the first flipper to offer Micarta. The stonewashed, Magnacut blade is mated to a stonewashed, U.S.-made, titanium alloy frame with a black G10 scale assembled by the craftsmen at LionSTEEL in Northern Italy.

The HEST/F 4.0 Micarta includes classic features such as a tungsten carbide glass breaker, a reversible pocket clip that adds additional strength to the lock bar, and more.

Pretty flawless hard-use EDC
Pros: super smooth and fast flipping, razor sharp, lightweight considering the very thick blade, very comfortable and ergonomic handle, rock solid lockup, perfect deep carry clip. This is a hard one to put down and not carry :)Cons: none that I’ve found in the last six months
