Robust yet slim, the Real Steel Evolution is a collaborative effort between the brilliant minds at Real Steel and famed designer Carson Huang. This large folding knife offers some truly unique experiences. The frame lock can be actuated by either pressing the button on the presentation scale, or by manually moving the lockbar like on any other traditional frame lock. Combining a D2 tool steel blade with sturdy G10 and steel handles, the Evolution is ready for truly tough tasks. Once the blade is open, slide the switch on the presentation scale towards the button, thus activating a secondary lock which prevents the frame lock from moving, effectively transforming the Evolution into a fixed blade until you're ready to re-pocket it. Although the secondary lock cannot be used while the blade is closed, that shouldn't an issue thanks to a strong detent. Just as the human race has evolved, so has the knife game - Real Steel and Carson Huang's collaboration here is living proof, and we couldn't be happier to offer their products.

Frame Lock
Developed by Chris Reeve, it functions like a liner lock but the lock is comprised of one of the handle scales. It's an extremely strong and easy to manipulate lock.

knife was almost razor sharp to razor sharp out of the box. very good for everyday carry even though larger and heavier than average. tactical and military looking unique style. doe s not look like anything else.
