The original Quantum model has been released in 2019, and Quantum Gen 2 was made available in 2021. Now, Shirogorov Knives are offering a more budget-friendly version of one of their premiere and immediately recognizable folders.
This knife is meant to be a workhorse. Compared to Quantum Gen 1, the blade has been slimmed down to 0.135" in thickness and no longer has a fuller, which makes it more practical and easier to clean. The slight upsweep of the blade transitions into a very ergonomic handle, which has a full G10 face scale and titanium frame lock just like the Hati. The Quantium Ursus also features a Cromax PM stainless blade, a lockbar insert, a sculpted and milled pocket clip, and a lanyard hole on the presentation scale.
