I like 'em.
I have several of these that I use as steak knives. I find them easy to handle when cutting. I like the handle size, the way it fits in my hand when using it in the kitchen (the 1st one I bought), I have bought more over time to make a steak knife set. Although a bulky sheath, I use it as a blade protection in a draw (until I make a knife box). Holds an edge nicely, is unique looking & face it, you'll spend the same amount of money for a good steak knife set.As in other reviews, the sheath is very snug fitting that the it hinders the blade from going in the sheath but holds the knife very firmly. I have had better sheaths easier to insert or remove the knife. Maybe this is by design since there is no retaining strap.My only con about the knife is the rough finish on the handle. I just out my very fine sanding pad, smooth the handle & apply a gloss finish over the handle. I've done this to a few G10 handles. Personal taste.
