CJBJ1921BBK: Silax Fixed Blade, Black G10

CJRB Cutlery

The Hyperlite, designed by Joe Flowers, is made for those looking for one fixed blade knife to handle all of their day-to-day tasks. The AR-RPM9 blade has a large belly, suitable for most tasks, with a sharp piercing point. The utility nature of the blade design means that it can be used for almost any task including camp chores, hunting, and even as a substitute kitchen knife. The smooth and slim G10 handles provide a solid grip while remaining unobtrusive during use or carry. The knife comes with a Kydex sheath and lanyard for transport. At only 3.5 ounces (4.5 ounces with the sheath), this knife has truly earned the name Hyperlite. If carrying fixed blades by a lanyard is not your preference, then fear not – this blade comes with a belt clip that easily attaches to the Kydex sheath for easy belt carry in vertical or horizontal carry, and everything in-between. If any fixed blade has earned the appellation EDC, it is the Hyperlite from CJRB.

Nice Lite Fixed Blade
2/3 🔵️🔵️⚫️4/5 🔵️🔵️🔵️⚫️Blade1) a bit of a recurve as the edge approaches the choil/heel a bit annoying but it can be ground out2) really needs a bit more of a finger choil/guard3) nice edge grind though4) spine is not crisp which some might not like though at the tip it is sharp as is the CJRB SilaxHandle1) really tiny lanyard hole2) a few sharp hot spots that need fixing3) there is a hex shaped notch for something it is not 1/4 inch so a bit will not work cap lifter, nope, won't work maybe a wire breaker, it's a mysteryBelt J-Clip & Standoff1) when using the Standoff with three holes, which do not align quite right, it makes removing the knife almost impossible shifting & using only two holes is required2) the mounting screws threading is iffy3) there are two sizes of torx which is annoying4) horizontal carry with just the J-Clip is impossible since only one slot aligns with a hole in the sheath5) vertical carry with just the J-Clip will require spacers so the clip will lay flat and not put pressure on the sheath or cause lifting stress on the J-Clip this will require a new set of longer screws & spacers6) overall the belt attachment is lacking in functionality too bulky & has attachment issues monster plastic belt attachment devices do not impressSheath1) better retention than the CJRB Silax2) retention issues using the J-Clip monsterwhat affordable production knife doesn't need some tweaking???overall a fairly nice blade but as with the CJRB Silaxthe sheath & mounting options need workwrapping the cord around, it can be horizontal carriedit is short light weight & balances wellunlike the heavy handle CJRB Silaxit will be usable, something nice to tuck in a bag

This knife is fantastic!
Initially I got this knife because I liked the specs and how it looked in the videos. After having it and working with it as a most every day carry I can safely say that is perfect for me! The steel is extremely light, thin, keeps and takes a good edge and has been pretty durable. Is it an esee workhorse that you can do crazy stuff with? No, will it work for almost every task including but not limited to, edc package opening, butchering meat, bushcraft tasks including batoning up to a certain size? Absolutely!

Love the size.
Had to pick this up Because of Joe Flowers and the DCA crew Review At shot show. The knife is smaller than I thought it would be but I do like the size. Amazingly light knife, Extremely sharp! Hope the RPM9 Will be easy to maintain. Jimping is a little sharp but I can knock the edges down. Looking forward to using this On a camping trip.
