T365STSATBMG: STS-ATB Folding Knife - Marine Gray G10

Terrain 365

The STS-ATB is a modern, technical, bolster-lock folder featuring a distinct clip point blade inspired by the classic Loveless chute knife. Featuring Terrain 365's rustproof, edge-holding Terravantium blade, this folder is a cutting tool capable from S.ea T.o S.ummit and anything in between. This variant features OD green canvas Micarta scales.

The STS-ATB not only draws its blade shape inspiration from the Loveless chute but also its intent. An edged tool that is highly versatile and capable in a wide range of environments and conditions as required by Harry Archer, another legendary figure and the man who initially commissioned the chute knife idea to Loveless. Archer required a knife that could be used for cutting parachute lines, wilderness survival, personal safety, and more; and also do so in demanding rough environments. With a rustproof Terravantium blade, all non-ferrous and non-magnetic components down to the custom-turned titanium machined screws and ceramic bearings, the STS-ATB is a folding knife that is impervious to rust in any wilderness conditions, on land or in water. A highly reliable and capable tool for your next adventure, be it at the top of your favorite local peak, fishing spot, or somewhere, unknown, far away, and dangerous.

Terrain 365 recommends a freshwater rinse after any immersion in salt water to flush out salt and minerals to keep the action smooth and clean.

An Eternal Heirloom
This knife rocks! The blade is cobalt so it can’t corrode, and the handle materials share the same feature being titanium and G10. The glowing thumbstuds are a cool style bonus, but the blade is the star of the show. The grind and shape are super handsome (as are the overall lines of the knife) and length/weight make this an outstanding EDC choice for someone who wants something different or unique without being gaudy. It has a classic look with a completely unconventional material and execution, plus the action is nuts. The strong detent makes it fire open smooth and fast, and when it’s open you can appreciate the crowned spine and fine jimping. This thing will never succumb to the wear of time (provided you strip and sharpen as needed) and can be something that’s passed down from father to son forever. What more could you want from a knife?
