The Makani is a limited edition collaboration with Anton Tkachenko, designer of the discontinued but well-loved Steel Will Lanner. It follows a similar form factor with organic curves and plenty of all-around functionality built right in. This is a sizeable design coming in at 8.35" overall, and with that you get a knife built to handle everything and built for everybody. It doesn't feel quite this large, however, mainly due to the contouring and internal lightening of the handle. The weight and stellar ergonomics contribute to it feeling much more wieldy - in the hand and the pocket - than nearly anything else its size. The Makani is an impressive limited production knife, don't miss out and kick yourself later on. This piece is limited to just 200 pieces.
