Very Nice
My wife bought me a ribeye primal for my birthday. I had just received this 14” slicer a few days prior but had not used it. It was sharp right out of the box and a joy to use. Someone at Wusthoff knows how to deburr the apex. Having a thin blade reduces the force you need to apply while cutting and the fact that it was sharp made this knife very easy to use. I also have a Chicago Cutlery 42S 8” chef knife which is my go-to. I have some professional knife sharpening equipment and keep this very, very sharp. So, in comparison the Wusthoff slicer with its thin blade cross section and factory edge (meaning no one spent an inordinate amount of time sharpening it) sliced the primal better and easier than my chef knife with its thicker blade and an edge upon which I lavish time and attention. I would highly recommend this knife.
