Wonderful sleek gentleman's knife
Very slick classy and compact flipper with a very useful clip point blade. If you expect this to be a 'hard use' type knife you will be disappointed, but if you want something eminently stylish to open packages, cut up lunch, fidget with at your desk, etc, it's perfect. Build quality is very nice, action is smooth. It was my first flipper so it took me a little getting used to, but it's smooth and reliable. The finish of the Damascus steel is a little bit lighter/shinier than these photos suggest. It has a really nice look to it overall. Very sharp out of the box.Reasons I knock off 1 star: -The flipper tab has a little bit of an edge/texture to it, and the amount of force it requires to open, I felt like I had to develop a slight callous on my finger tip in that spot before I could use it comfortably. It's also a very compact handle so there is not as much to hold onto as you are activating the flipper action. Once I got used to it it's smooth and easy to do, but it took some practice-Pocket clip is very tight, this means it is very secure in your pocket but also slightly more annoying to put back in your pocket. (But it's nice to feel assured that your fancy knife will not fall out of your pocket when you sit down.)Overall I would actually say 4.5 stars, but I can't do .5 stars here. Solid purchase, great choice for city dwellers who want a nice stylish EDC that will not scare away your non knife person friends.
