CIVC22025B3: C22025B-3 Sentinel Strike Folding Knife - Black

CIVIVI Knives

The Sentinel Strike is based on the award-winning WE Knives Ziffius design and comes in at a price point that won't cause you to hesitate before making that questionable cut. Its aluminum frame is inlaid with an integral piece of textured FRN that could also be referred to as a backspacer of sorts. The reverse tanto blade is Bohler K110 (D2) tool steel and at 3.7" there isn't much it can't tackle with ease. If you already have an Elementum and are looking for a tactical blade or just that next homerun EDC, this is it!

My first better-than-commodity knife
I'm not a knife collector, but I sure use them. I have a lot of quality kitchen cutlery and one EDC pocket folder and one other folder that was pretty inexpensive when I bought it years ago and it's even been discontinued, but it was just too heavy to carry comfortably so it was basically relegated to a letter opener/household utility knife. I've been putting together a "go-bag" recently and figured I'd just use that heavy folder for that, but as the bag got heavier and heavier as I added supplies...eh... not so much. Then I saw a review of this knife and I've never had a button lock before, the price was acceptable, so I bought it. Boy howdy, I'm not disappointed. All the ways to deploy (flipper tab, thumb stud, thumb hole, or just pressing the button and flicking with the wrist) work great. It was a little stiff at first, but since I've been fidgeting with it, it's loosened up, and I love the finger safe one-handed close with the button. The factory edge is razor sharp, sharper than I've ever achieved on my other knives, so I'll have to work on that. It's very light for its size. Glass breaker at the heel is a nice touch too. I love this knife!
