Condor Tool & Knife

The Primitive Sequoia Knife or Nomad features an 8.375" 1075 high carbon steel blade. Every edge is hand finished and honed to razor sharpness. The natural finish is a bare metal look that has the appeal of a well-worn pair of jeans. The Micarta handles enhance both the look and function of this knife while delivering durable phenolic performance. The included sheath is made from high quality, heavy duty, handcrafted leather.

About the Designer

Matt Graham has experience living off the land: he went for a walk one day and ended up spending six months on his own in the wild. He lives in a remote area of southern Utah where he primarily sleeps in rudimentary structures. You may have seen Matt use Condor products on TV. In 2015, Graham and Condor Tool & Knife teamed up to develop a special line of "Primitive Survival Tools", combining Matt's core knowledge of aboriginal skills and pioneer design with Condor's old world hand craftsmanship. Swift Chopper - Perfect for Tropical Climates
Climate:TropicalPrimary uses: Hunting - Skinning/Processing Wild Game - Home Landscaping - Grilling - Food ProcessingExcellent knife/machete hybrid. Though thin, the blade feels stout and well poised for swift chopping. This attribute also lends itself to achieving a murderous level of sharpness unattainable by thicker blades (>4.5mm thickness). The slice is real. The knife as a whole feels light for its size and its phenomenal balance is granted by the accommodatingly slim, yet long handle; allowing for an array of various grip styles.With the amount of meat that the blade has inherited, I am eager to witness its evolution as I wear away at its girth over time. The litany of modest task that the blade has endured over a two year period is naturally shaping the blade from its intrinsic form to reflect my style of use.
