Not quite amazing.
It's good, but not as amazing as some people, including David in his video, say. The Micarta is smooth, but not high polished and shiny black (like a Dozier) like it appears in the photos. Mine came sharpened into a little bit of a recurve, even though I don't think it's supposed to be. The edge was longer on one side than the other, and had a wire edge that was folded over. The Blade finish is a pretty ordinary satin. The red liners are dull and dark, and don't really stand out from the medium gray handles.The sheath is exceptional.I'd say it's definitely worth the money but doesn't seem like a high-end knife, like some people are saying, in my opinion. I was looking for an actual high-end knife to complete my collection, so I may return this.
