The Companion is one of Morakniv's most popular knives, because, as the name suggests, it is such a reliable companion. The tang runs three-quarters of the way up the knife so that you can work with power and precision. The blade is made of Swedish stainless steel, and it has a soft, friction grip handle made of TPE rubber, which makes the knife feel safe and steady to work with. The polymer knife sheath has a practical belt clip for attaching the knife to a rucksack or a belt keeping it always close at hand.

The Companion Heavy-Duty is the optimal companion for rigorous adventures and challenges. The robust handle and the 27-degree edge angle give it maximum edge resiliency. The blade is extra thick (3.2 mm) to be able to withstand all kinds of pressure and its made of stainless steel, which keeps an edge longer and doesn't need as much knife care.

SERIOUS STEEL
I recently received this blade as a gift and was pleasantly surprised. I already own the Morakniv Gargerg and I consider this blade equal to the Garberg. The weight is lower so if you are backpacking and are trying to carry as little as possible this is the knife you want. In my opinion this is the best of the Companion line of knives. Nice sheath. Satin stainless blade is beautiful and Razor-sharp right out of box. Love this blade. Highly recommended.
