Well made from the quiet US made brand
This is the 2nd Hogue I’ve owned - the RSK Mk-1 (Ritter ‘Grip’) was my first. I’m very impressed by the brand especially in terms of value. This model is comfortable in-hand with some excellent steel though it’s not the “latest & greatest” super steel. It’s been a favorite of mine for years. Hogue has a well deserved excellent reputation for heat treat. The push button, thumb studs, and lock mechanism are easy to manipulate and feel very robust. The G10 is visually appealing and offers excellent traction. The pocket clip looks slightly awkwardly large but functions flawlessly and doesn’t cause any discomfort to me during use. I switched it to tip-up carry FYI The action is smooth & easy enough to use but I wouldn’t refer to it as a fun knife to sit and fidget with while watching tv. There’s better ‘toys’ for that. But if you want a good work knife and a good value, this one fits the bill. I’m going to take a good long look at more US made knives and the Hogue line in particular. I suspect there’ll be a couple more of the brand in my future. This one is a model I’d recommend. Hope this has been helpful. That’s about all. Peace out.

Solid Knife
I'm very impressed with this knife! It's extremely well made, with tight tolerances, smooth blade deployment and solid lock up. I use it primarily as a hunting knife along side my Boker Savannah fixed blade. It has been through a few animals since I purchased it (2 deer and 1 elk) without needing to resharpen, and the handles provided a solid grip while gutting. Couldn't be happier!
