Together they have created the EX01 Extreme Tactical Folder, a knife that combines Elishewitz's expert designs with Hogue's excellent handles. Coming in either a drop point blade or a tanto blade and various combinations of handle colors and materials, the EX01 is Hogue's promising first step into the knife business.

Great knife
This knife has found its way into my edc rotation. Beautiful knife, sharp, perfect blade size and its lighter than you’d think. Also easy in and out of Jean pockets without shredding. Can’t say enough about Hogue and their made in USA products!

Good Blade, Bad Balance
In the under $400 plus knief category it's hard to find good blades at a resonable price that are still American made. Pros: Nice handle design and feel. Good, sturdy blade and a decent push-button locking mechanism with a safety lock. Brass fittings for the pocket clip screws. Excellent fit and finish overall.Cons: Blade finish looks cheap though it's not. Limited options for blade color and serrated edge. Blanace is poor. All the weight is forward in the blade and the handle while it feels sturdy, doesn't feel right in the hand due to the uneven weight distribution of the knief. Opening one handed is stiff. Overall it's a good solid knief but not at nearly $200. And it's billed as razor sharp but didn't do well on a sheet of paper.
