Description

KNF00584: Lander 4 Fixed Blade - Clip Point

Knafs Co.

The Lander 4 Fixed Blade is the first fixed blade knife in the Lander series. This is the Clip Point version, with contoured Paper Micarta scales and sweet and durable S35VN steel. The clip point blade is a favorite in-house, and Knafs attached a brass booster bead via lanyard through the rear screw.

Someone asked me the other day why we keep expanding the Lander line. Ben's response was something to the effect of, "Bakers gonna bake. Makers gonna make. Designers gonna design." This is what he does professionally, and the new ideas never let him rest. Humans continue planning Moon adventures because it’s there. The Lander 4 is like that. Ben sat there looking at the Lander line, and couldn't help but ask, "What’s missing here? What's next?" An EDC fixie was an obvious choice. Make it pocketable. Interesting. Fun. Non-aggressive.

The Knife I've Been Looking For!!!
The Knaf Lander 4 Fixed Blade checks every box for me. I've had several fixed blades over the years, but never found that "goldilocks" of fixed blades. Ben hit this one out of the park. Besides everyday tasks, it is nearing hunting season and I plan on putting this little dude through the paces (mainly skinning). I bought an ulticlip for it to ride in the pocket, but actually like wearing it vertical on the belt with the belt loop it comes with. The S35VN steel is a favorite of mine and I know many other for is ease of sharpening and fairly good edge retention. Being my first Knaf's Knife, I'm already looking at a few of the folders. I'd highly recommend the Knaf 4 Fixed blade. You never know, you may like a fixed blade more than a folder.

The Knife I've been looking for!!!!
This Landers 4 Fixed Blade has been on my radar since I first heard rumors of it. It is the knife I've wanted for years and could never find. It's S35VN blade steel is going to be super easy to sharpen and the small stature makes it a perfect edc. One thing that I like best is how it rides in the on the belt vertical position. I know with all the hype around pocket carry fixed blades most guys are putting an ultimate clip on em. But, if your a belt carry guy, you dont have to use it scout carry. This bad boy rides just like a winkler sheath. If you know!
