The 380/RV is Maserin's latest addition to their Gourmet line of everyday carry knives. Originally designed by Attilio Morotti as an EDC steak knife, this liner-locking blade is pure class.

Stunning green-dyed burl wood adorns the Gourmet's full-length liners for extra style. It also sports another feature you don't see too often - a solid wood backspacer, dyed black for contrast.

The slender drop point blade provides plenty of length for cutting meat or breaking down boxes. The steel on offer is Thysenn-German's 4116 cutlery grade steel - basically the same stuff you find in high-end German kitchen knives.

To keep the lines of the knife smooth and flowing, the Gourmet eschews things like a flipper tab or thumb studs. Instead, you open the knife with a spine tab, using your thumb to deliberately rotate the knife until it locks into place. A dimpled liner lock release provides traction to smoothly close the knife when you've finished your task.

Likewise, there is no pocket clip to spoil the aesthetics, and instead, a black leather pocket slip hugs the contours of the knife.

Maserin began production in 1960 in Maniago, Italy. Through its constant growth, they have been able to maintain and expand the tradition of excellence that helped Maniago be recognized as Italy's "City of Knives".
