This steel is highly regarded for its excellent corrosion resistance, ease of sharpening, and reliable edge retention. Finished with a rugged black stonewash, the blade features a slicey flat grind and a dual-position grip design on the spine, offering extra leverage and control during precise cuts. To achieve its incredibly light 2.54 ounce weight, the Guppy utilizes a unique hidden liner structure, reducing the inner steel liner to just a quarter of the handle size.
