RCIZULAIIB: IZULA-II-B Izula-II

ESEE Knives

Since 1997 Randall's Adventure & Training has designed no-nonsense, affordable field knives specifically targeted to military, law enforcement, and the special operations community. Many of their knives now serve in combat zones around the globe. The knives have a "no questions asked" lifetime warranty. ESEE Knives is also setting the standard for many local, state and federal law enforcement officers when it comes to high performance, compact sheath knives with multiple carry options. The NTOA scored the 3-inch fixed blade a 4.77 out of a possible 5. In addition to knives, ESEE also offers survival, land navigation, tracking and other training courses along with free survival information.

The locals in Peru call the meanest, nastiest ant of the jungle by the name "Isula" and we know it as the Bullet Ant. The Bullet Ant is known to be independent, tough, light on its feet, and a real aggressive survivor. The Izula knife is built the same way and designed to be the perfect lightweight survival tool or concealed carry knife. The Izula-II is the same as the standard Izula except it has a half-inch of length added to the handle and includes full Micarta handle scales. These knives are made from high carbon 1095 steel. And while 1095 is a top choice for professional cutlery designed for hard use, it will rust and stain if not properly cared for - especially on the cutting edge and around the laser engraving. It is the user's responsibility to keep the blades properly lubricated and cleaned. We suggest using a dry film rust inhibitor such as TUF-GLIDE or TUF-CLOTH.

this is one bad ass knife. my first esee & it won't be the last. fine construction, nice attention to detail, construction materials, handle size is very nice for a small blade. and it just plain looks good on my belt.

Good knife, terrible sheath (LOST MY KNIFE DUE TO THAT!)
Comes razor sharp out of the box. I stripped the ugly coating (obviously) and used the knife in various tasks around camp. Solid performer. However, I did loose the knife on my last trekking trip. At some point during bushwhacking trough forest, the knife had fallen out of the sheath. I have no idea how is that even possible, because the sheath was on my thigh and the knife wasn't even hanging upside-down.I'll probably order another one anyways, but I'll have to do some modifications to the sheath or otherwise it'll be another 100 bucks down the drain.

Good purchase
I use the Izula 2 in my day bag when not at work just a general purpose knife. At work I carry it under my vest or in a side pocket attached through a para cord loop to my belt. No specific use its just handy to have a fixed blade knife for everyday tasks. Well made sharp feels suprisingly good in hand.Knifecentre great to deal with, they do not do rip off claw backs on the postage .
