Description

SP28FP2WK390: C28FP2WK390 Dragonfly 2 Lightweight Wharncliffe K390

Spyderco

The Dragonfly 2 is one of the most size-efficient folding knives ever created, especially when expressed with a straight-edged Wharncliffe-style blade. When that blade is crafted from tough, wear-resistant K390 tool steel, the result is a compact, powerhouse cutting tool that will take and hold an exceptional edge. Like the standard Dragonfly 2, this knife also features a user-friendly back lock and a reversible deep-pocket wire clip, but its linerless FRN handle is molded in the signature blue color of Spyderco’s K390 family of knives.

Please note: K390 is a high-performance, non-stainless steel that can rust if cared for improperly. Always make sure to clean and dry your blade after use, and apply oil or other rust-inhibiting products if needed.

Great little knife
What a great little knife! I bought this knife for a back up knife to my wharncliff k390 delica. When I saw this k390 dragonfly wharncliff I was sold. It is little yes but it's configuration with the super steel It will eat up cardboard like no ones business. Fit and finish was excellent and it was scary sharp as well.

Cons: Lock Ease of Use
Holds an an for cutting leather all day.
Yes it's a little small, but it has a great choil for tough cutting, but the blade is so thin I cut through 12oz or 3/16ths skirting leather easily. Strop? Oh once in a while on a piece of 1.5 inch mahogany with 1 micron or 16,000 grit diamond paste in it. I only ever touched it up on a diamond stone after cutting up a bunch of cardboard and letting my grandson borrow it while I fixed his D2 Kershaw. It is great for straight cuts and cutting leather around a template. If you work with leather you need this knife.

Awesome small-bladed knife
Purchased this little work horse to comply with some new blade length restrictions for my job site. Even though I have large ham hands, I can open it up with the thumb hole with no issues. Cuts open plastic wrap with no issues, as well as cords and boxes. Fun to fidget with at my desk, super satisfying. The only con I have is the blade is prone to getting dirty, so take care to wipe it down every so often. All in all, a cool little knife!
