TOMGLAD01: Modern Gladius Fixed Blade, Tan Canvas Micarta

Tops Knives

The Modern Gladius is a shorter version of the classic Roman weapon portrayed in films like 'Gladiator'. It is made of 0.190” thick 1095 carbon steel with a black traction coating. The double-edged tanto-esque blade is designed to be great for stabbing thrusts and slashing cuts. It has a fuller on each side of the edge also. The tan canvas Micarta handle is tapered very slightly towards the guard to help lock your hand in place. It comes in a black Kydex sheath with a leather dangler for easy carry.

Exceeded Expectations
Like al of Tops knife, this thing is built like a truck! I've gotten so many compliments about this knife from non-knife fans. It's beautiful, sharp as hell, and I'm a big fan of Roman era history/philosophy and this is a great edition to collection. Love the way the sheath doesn't hug my pant but dangle making it less wear and tear on jeans and easier to get up and sit down. Highly recommend!
