KU1048A1: 1048A1 Jonathan Styles Cabox Fixed Blade

Kizer Cutlery

The Cabox is the highest point in Newfoundland, and the Cabox fixed blade has the chops to help you reach there and beyond. Designed by Johnathan Style to be a skinning and game processing knife, it nonetheless can still impress as a camp or survival knife thanks to the utility-focused drop point blade. The blade is made from D2, a good but affordable tool steel common in hard use or EDC knives. The Cabox comes with Micarta handles to help resist the effects of the elements on your grip, and adding a finger ring at the back of the handle further enhances your ability to carry it. The straightforward design and large finger groove allow for your grip to be comfortable as well as secure. The Cabox comes with a Kydex sheath to allow for safe transport.

Bladesmith Series

The Bladesmith Series is Kizer's collaboration/partnership with the custom knife world. They license designs from custom knifemakers and forge a partnership utilizing the best from both sides. The custom designers bring their innovative and unique designs, while Kizer brings their highly specialized technical manufacturing expertise and quality. This is an excellent knife. It’s made from D2 tool steel. D2 is a time tested oil hardening tool steel. It takes a terrific edge. The handle is well finished and overall looks and quality are excellent. Workmanship AAA+. If you’re pinched for money and you need a knife for the field or to protect yourself with buy this knife. The sheath is good and the knife fits well in its sheath. The knife is comfortable, convenient, and compact. Its fit and finish are top of the line. It’s equal or better than many name brand knives.

HOLY COW!!! This bada** but simple knife is sharp!!.. Loss of digits is a high possibility. Overall great weight, design and so easy to EDC. Super impressed to the point I may never buy a knife from anywhere else but Kizer. A fellas!
