Whatever your adventure, Expat Knives are designed to enhance it, to enable you the thrive not only in the field but in the kitchen as well. And with any luck, you may just be fortunate enough for these two places to be one and the same.

Get out there. Live life intentionally. Make memories. And take an ESEE Expat Knife with you.

The ESEE-CL1 Cleaver perfectly exemplifies the Expat Knives directive. This outdoor survival/cooking knife makes quick work of breaking down anything and everything. Leather Sheath
Leather Sheath
Leather is known for its durability and traditional appeal. When compared to Kydex it is preferred for its silence when bumped against other objects, as well as blade retention.
1095 Carbon Steel
1095 Carbon Steel
An excellent hard use steel, 1095 is a primary choice for camping and larger fixed blade knives for its extreme toughness and ability to hold an edge. Corrosion resistance is very limited with this steel (it will rust) and most blades come with a coating to prevent premature rusting.
Made in USA

G10 Handles
G10 Handles
Formed in a sheet under high pressure by combining fiberglass and an epoxy resin binder. These handles are lightweight and shaped to ensure a solid grip.

Esee Cleaver
Super sharp. Great in the kitchen. I haven`t been camping with it yet though, but I know it will be a beast out in the "wilds". I look forward to using it for wood processing and shelter building and other bushcrafting chores. I couple it with my Bark River Aurora. A great team.
