SWOTF9TB: SWOTF9TB OTF Assisted Knife

Smith & Wesson

The SWOTF9TB is an assisted opening OTF knife from Smith & Wesson and the knife is super fast and well made. It has a safety and a tab on the side used to retract the blade in addition to the thumb slide. The mechanism takes a little getting used to, but it truly is an awesome and impressive knife. Built with tactical intent in mind, the SWOTF9TB has a slender profile and a tactical black finish. The AUS8 stainless steel blade is 3.6" long and forged into a double edge dagger, very reminiscent of a Benchmade or Microtech OTF Automatic. The aluminum handles are contoured for a better grip and include a glass breaker pommel, a pocket clip, and a safety lock.

poor construction
i keep the otf in my car, as a glass breaker and seatbelt cutter, and when i took it out to clean and oil it, the slide to send the blade out fell off... poorly constructed knife

Great Knife with a sweet price!
This knife is beautiful and very durable. I was looking to buy the auto Infidel knife at 380.00 dollars when I stumbled upon this tactical S&W. Please don't get me wrong, I absolutely love the Infidel but for under 50 bucks this S&W knife is a real steal.
