CIVC907U: C907U Elementum Folding Knife

CIVIVI Knives

CIVIVI Knives are the kind that you give as a gift to a friend, whether or not they're into knives. Anyone will feel the quality and attention to detail as soon as they pick one up yet their price points will signify that these knives are built to be used. As direct competitors against the Spyderco Tenacious and Ontario RAT 1, it's honestly no comparison and we definitely know which is the best choice. Considering the materials are comparable, the amazing action that CIVIVI Knives possesses makes them the knives to beat in terms of the value folding market.

The C907 Elementum is a no-frills, straight down to business utility folding knife. It's a bit too compact to be used for self-defense but many of its design features pave the way for it to be an excellent EDC blade. These include the thin, ergonomic handle that provides no hots spots during use and a very simple utilitarian design. The drop point blade transitions into an ergonomic handle that seems to melt into the hand. The guibourtia wood scales make for a great aesthetic while the deep carry clip keeps the knife securely attached to your pocket. The Elementum was designed for and is capable of all-day use and at this price point, we highly recommend you put it through its paces.

Great knife my EDC
I randomly bought one of these CIVIVI's a few years ago and it soon became my everyday knife until I lost it during a recent ice storm so I immediately ordered another. Then a week later found my original. It stays sharp and is easy to open and close. Durable blade. I wish it were a little smaller, but is great for my purposes.

My first Civivi
This is also my first good knife. I love the looks of the Guibourtia wood and the blacked out blade. This one is a better knife for dressing up because the handles are so slick “slippery” in the hand, so I’m going to buy another one with different handles for EDC. I love the size of the knife and it fits nicely in my hand. The only thing I would change is the linear lock because it barely sticks out enough to engage it when trying to close it. All things considered this is still a great budget friendly knife with a lot going for it and I am now a big Civivi fan

Cons: Pocket Clip
CIVIVI are nice, clip bends easily
This is my second Elementum. The first one was nice, and I gave it to be brother in law. Never give away something you wouldn't own yourself. I like the knife. Smooth with excellent quality. It came sharp and with nice wood. Very well made. Except the pocket clip. After carrying for a few weeks it no longer holds tight in my pocket. The metal for the clip is too soft. Was thinking of replacing the clip with something a little more sturdy. A great knife marred by a weak clip.
