Easily swooped into 1st place among my many folding knives! Amazing!
I received several items from KnifeCenter on 2/14/26. The absolute highlight was this Spyderco Manix 2 Salt — the black one with the handle scales like those of the Caribbean.IT INSTANTLY BECAME MY FAVORITE FOLDER OF ALL! - Super-solid build, like all Manix knives- Astonishingly grippy handle scales (Now I understand the enthusiasm about the Caribbean.)- Looks like a knife made for ninjas or SWAT team members — flat black everywhere, done right- OH MY GOD WHAT AN EDGE!!!!!Seriously—I remember in the early 2000s, every knife I would buy (Spyderco, Benchmade, anyone else) came with a barely acceptable edge, and so I would reprofile and sharpen them as soon as I got them.I DON’T WANT TO TOUCH THIS EDGE! It’s a frickin’ RAZOR!!!!! I don’t know what they do these days, or what’s different about how they sharpen knives in the factory, but THEY HAVE IT KNOCKED! I am definitely going to order myself a second one of these, just to keep a backup, because I decided right away that this is going to be in my pocket every day.I give this knife my strongest possible endorsement!
